What do you say to local moms who are working every day
to pull themselves and their families up and out of economic struggles? How do
you let them know the community applauds their commitment and determination to
be good mothers? You Make a Mother’s
Day! That’s the name of United Way of PassaicCounty’s annual program that gives local
employee groups the opportunity to let these hard working moms know we support
them and appreciate all they are doing. This Sunday, more than 70 moms who were nominated by
community groups received encouragement in the form of a Make a Mother’s Day gift bag.
