Passaic County VOAD

Passaic County Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster (PCVOAD)

The Passaic County VOAD is the county-wide collaborative body of non-profit, for-profit, as well as government organizations that facilitates communication, cooperation, and coordination of member organizations in all phases of disaster and to maximize member impact. When a disaster is imminent, or has occurred in Passaic County, the NJ-VOAD or county officials can ask Passaic County VOAD to become active.  United Way organizes the VOAD to help member organizations plan, coordinate resources, and communicate together.

COVID-19 Updates for Community & Volunteer Organizations

All organizations providing services (either in-person or virtually) should update their listing with NJ211 to reflect current services, hours, etc.

Emergency food providers are meeting by conference call weekly. Connect with Mary Celis or Mark Dinglasan if you want an invitation to this call.

Emerging needs: please advise Yvonne Zuidema of identified agency needs, coordination needs or resources required.

Post your volunteer opportunities! Add your listing to Volunteer Passaic and Jersey Cares

Donations -- financial donations to support COVID-19 response and recovery in Passaic County are accepted on United Way's website

Financial donations to support organizations providing emergency and basic needs are also accepted at those organization websites.

Food donations should be shipped directly to the recipient organization in order to maintain physical distance.

Send additional updates to Yvonne Zuidema.
