One backpack. One child. One powerful way to make a difference.
Host a collection drive of fully packed backpacks or bring people together for a backpack packing party.
Together, we'll equip local students with the supplies they need to start the school year with confidence, dignity, and the opportunity to succeed.
United is the way to a stronger Passaic County.
1. Build Your Team
Gather your coworkers, friends, family members, faith community, or neighbors and rally around a shared goal. Give your team a fun name and make it a friendly challenge! Register your team HERE
2. Choose Your Impact
Decide how you'd like to help:
✅ Collect fully stocked backpacks
✅ Collect school supplies and host a backpack packing party
✅ Raise funds to purchase supplies in bulk and host a backpack packing party
*Please note that we are asking for complete backpacks, however we will take any school supply donations as well!
3. Set a Goal
Determine what success looks like for your group:
- 25 backpacks?
- 50 backpacks?
- 100 backpacks?
Every backpack helps a child start the school year prepared and confident.
4. Spread the Word
Invite others to join the effort through email, social media, team meetings, or community gatherings. The more people involved, the greater the impact.

5. Bring It to Life
Host your collection drive or packing event! Turn it into a meaningful experience with music, refreshments, team photos, and a shared commitment to supporting local students.
6. Deliver Opportunity
Drop off your completed backpacks or collected supplies and know that you're helping local children start the school year ready to learn, grow, and thrive.
