The United Way of Passaic County convenes the Passaic County COAD is the county-wide collaborative body of non-profit, for-profit, as well as government organizations that facilitates communication, cooperation, and coordination of member organizations in all phases of disaster and to maximize member impact. When a disaster is imminent, or has occurred in Passaic County, the NJ-VOAD or county officials can ask Passaic County COAD to become active. United Way organizes the COAD to help member organizations plan, coordinate resources, and communicate together.
